Guten Morgen meine Damen und Herren. Good morning ladies and gentlemen.
It is unfortunate for Northern Ireland’s Loyalists that the philosophy of Loyalism has become a byword for intransigence, thuggery and terrorism, with nothing of merit to distinguish the philosophy of Loyalism from the philosophy of Sinn Fein. To the casual observer, the philosophy of Loyalism and the philosophy of Sinn Fein has moral equivalence.
At its heart, the philosophy of Loyalism is about the pursuit of prosperity for Northern Ireland and for the people of Northern Ireland to live freely, confident in the knowledge that their government is protecting their rights against interference from terrorism, and criminal activity.
To date—this primary duty of government, has been continually undermined by capitulating to the terrorist demands of Sinn Fein As has the government’s capitulation on policies, which are also geared to the terrorist demands of Sinn Fein, and not the legitimate rights of Loyalists.
Loyalism is for the democracy of freedom and prosperity. Sinn Fein is for the democracy of Fascism and Communism. Fascism and Communism similar to that which prevailed in Cultural Revolution era China and which still prevails in Cuba and North Korea. Sinn Fein is about a nation of equals under their gun. A gentler kinder machine gun hand, perhaps. But would a Loyalist wish to live under such a gun?
Loyalists must not allow themselves to be coerced into such a situation by a government which refuses to deliver on its responsibilities. To do so will be the end of Northern Ireland and Loyalism. Loyalists need to articulate the merits of their philosophy. Loyalists need to recognise that Sinn Fein does not have a valid democratic mandate. Has no moral equivalence. And that there is no requirement for Loyalists to share power, in any government, with such unprincipled democrats.
The philosophy of Loyalism is not bound by religion because the
philosophy of Loyalism is not sectarian.
