Why Join Procapitalism?

Procapitalism is the party for those who wish to limit government in an all-Ireland and EU context to defending freedom including the fundamental rights of life and the ownership of property and its disposal. This may appear to be a very modest goal with respect to government when so many people are accustomed to government having influence over so many aspects of day-to-day life by way of the democratic process. But it must always be remembered that government has a monopoly of power because it has the law, police and armed forces at its disposal, to enforce the will of some.

This is a fundamental weakness of democracy and the subsequent government, which is why government must be limited in its ability to use its power. Some have thought that a determined increase in local-cum-community government is the proper way to improve the situation. Unfortunately, this simply diverts enormous effort and intellect from the creation of wealth, and transforms democracy from being something of limited virtue into something of extraordinary enmity. This is because the nature of this enmity is hidden behind the veil of democratic legitimacy for the common good.

Three consequences of this is are: A false sense of economic wellbeing. The introduction of paper-rights which are counter to our fundamental rights. And an increasing inability to confront terrorism and its consequences because of a wilfull advocacy of multiculturalism* in the face of all rational evidence to the contrary.

In other words, joining Procapitalism will put you in the vanguard against such a decline in western culture and its virtues.

*Note: Multiculturalism is too often associated with a diversity of benign traditions, and race. This is entirely incorrect within the context of government. This is because multiculturalism holds that competing and conflicting ethics are legitimate. For instance, multiculturalism makes no critical distinction between a secular democracy and a theocratic tyranny, and insists, by way of government's monopoly of power, that tolerating the intolerable is the necessary evil required for harmony.
