Singapore is ranked amongst the world's most prosperous. Per capita GDP is equal to Western Europe and is twice that of Israel's by dint of having half the population of Israel. The Gaza strip has yet to achieve anything remotely close to either of these outcomes because it's economy is entirely dependent on foreign aid, sympathizers and rampant corruption.
