May 14, 2008 ... Israel makes 60.

In the face of seemingly insurmountable odds and relentless and misplaced international vilification, Israel has made 60. Today, Israel is indisputably the most civilised and progressive country in the region.

When Israel's regional counterparts, who steadfastly refuse to recognise Israel's virtues and would destroy israel if they could, have run out of oil revenues and/or have destroyed themselves through civil strife, Israel will make its first 100.
