März 07, 2008 ... Vive la Révolution!

When the German tax authorities gleefully descended upon 900 German business persons in order to recover €4-billion of tax money sent to Liechtenstein, the operation--aided by the payment of in excess of €5-million including placement in a witness protection scheme to an unnamed whistle blower--was hailed as a righteous result across Germany and in the Bundestag. Yet again, greedy business persons have been thwarted and will be punished for not meeting their patriotic obligations to Germany.

However, the proper response would have been to wonder about why German business persons would want to send their money to Liechtenstein and not invest in business opportunities in Germany. To which the answer is very simple: Investment in Germany, by Germans, is now not worth the risk.

This is because the scope and depth of regulation which applies to business activity in Germany, has made doing business in Germany a hugely expensive nightmare. And any money which is earned, is massively taxed so that Heidi Marie Wieczorek-Zeul, for example, can give €200-million to the Palestinians. €200-million that could be provided to the Palestinians by their Arab counterparts. But their Arab counterparts prefer to supply money for the purpose of purchasing armaments, so that the Palestinians can kill Israelis and other Palestinians who do not want to kill Israelis.

It has now gotten to the point where German banks will not offer financing to Polish business persons for investment in impoverished parts of east Germany, it being only possible by way of Polish banks. With the upsurge in labour pay demands and the myriad of other tensions that are creating too much tension in German society, there must be a massive change in the attitude towards the rich in Germany. For it is the rich who conceived the ideas from which successful businesses were developed, Businesses which made it possible for money to be earned, for wages to be paid and the risk taken to expand existing businesses and/or new businesses created.

By its very nature, government cannot be an alternative to business persons and businesses. Business persons must make judgments based on their analysis of reality, in the short and long term, in order to be successful. But when government, as a coercive monopoly of power, extends its reach into the realm of business, the ability for reality to be analysed is destroyed. This is because of government’s need to change reality to how it would prefer reality to be, as a fit to its policies. Under such circumstances, business persons have no other choice but the poor choice of Liechtenstein. And Germany is suffering mightily because of it.

The only valid remedy is to get the government out of the face of the rich, so that the rich and/or those who aspire to becoming rich, can be successful in business.
